Really not around much anymore. My primary home for my art is now Paper Demon, though I'm sadly the only active Sess/Kagura fanartist there... at least I was last I looked. Still write more fic than anything. During my long absences from the dA scene, those who wish to find me can do so here and here.

I'm so pleased. My winning work was the first piece of writing of mine in many moons that I felt so confident about I only needed to edit it once! Week 25's prompt inspired a plethora of wonderful pieces; I feel so honored to have been picked Mods' choice. Special thanks to the mods on InuYasha Hedonism, where Inusmut happens!

, one of my favorite artists on DA, felt she had no other recourse but to leave this site due to unfair treatment and arbitrary rule enforcement. First, let me say that no one has a right to dictate at what age Kagome, etc. can be depicted but Rumiko Takahashi, her creator. Second, to pick on one of the best artists I've seen on this site for something so arbitrary and ridiculous is... well... Ridiculous.

*Insert angry Sesshoumaru here*

Thirdly, the work in question does not even approach some of the filth I've seen on here - and in photography, no less. She herself made that point. The submissions I get tracking will curl your hair... if it isn't already curly... you get my point, I'm sure.

It's a shame someone as talented as Mittens felt forced out the way she was. My Favorites on here feel a little empty without her wonderful fan arts among them. Someone must stop this nonsense. I've seen inane behavior before, but this is just utter BULLSHIT.

Clubs I joined
and that I'm still trying to join

I took a drawing class the year before last and had some great pieces. I would have loved to upload them on here but they were too huge to fit in a regular scanner and, to this day, my mother has yet to take pictures of the ones I left with her. I had a terrific self portrait I would love to display but it's not happening. I do have some fun fan arts I've done recently, which I have been able to scan. Several months ago, I got really into the anime, InuYasha. I finished watching the series a couple of months ago and I've been reading the manga and writing fan fic and such since. I'm a member of the InuYasha Journey, a fan site and forum. I'm under the name, ryoko kagome.
